IMFire Fire Curtain

Fire curtains designed to protect against fire hazards can be produced in E, EW, EI, EIW, and EI (Sprinkler) types, catering to various environments such as hospitals, hotels, administrative buildings, educational institutions, shopping malls, military facilities, ships, subways, warehouses, factories, municipalities, residential buildings, conference halls, parking lots, industrial plants, atriums, museums, elevator fronts, as well as in compartments, suspended ceilings, lobby entrances, industrial kitchen entrances, in front of electrical rooms, and public spaces. Fire curtains can be designed with passive fire protection, insulation, radiation (radiance) resistance, or a combination of these features, depending on their type.

With a specially developed structure, these curtains provide extended resistance to high temperatures and comply with EN standards, offering fire resistance durations of 60, 120, 180, and 240 minutes at temperatures of 1100-1200 degrees Celsius. Functionally, fire curtains offer flame resistance, radiance reduction, insulation, and smoke-tight sealing, facilitating easier movement and intervention during fire events. They are integrated into existing fire alarm systems and activate automatically upon receiving a signal in the event of danger. This mechanism prevents fire from spreading from one area to another. The operating principle of fire curtains relies on a free-fall method (Gravigen System). They are available in both horizontal and vertical configurations.
